Eanna seal Super league title

For the first time in their history, Eanna Basketball Club are Super League Champions after a 93-61 win over Killester on Sunday! I have to admit that when Eanna returned with the same core group that had come up short over the past two or three years, I wasn’t sure that they’d have enough to get over the line. That consistency and familiarity though was exactly what defined this Eanna group. With Josh Wilson leading the way, Eanna had an incredible balance of attacking options and with Sean Jenkins taking a further step in his progression, Eanna became a team that simply couldn’t be stopped. With their last loss in mid-January, Eanna had big wins in recent weeks away to Star and Maree and were the form team at the right time.
