Tyrone’s Niall McGonigle takes victory in Samsonas Fivemiletown Rally

It was his first major rally win and was extra special as in previous years he’s been involved in the organising of the rally with the Omagh Motor Club, even acting as clerk of the course.

Tyrone’s Niall McGonigle (Ford Fiesta R5) took victory in the Samsonas Fivemiletown Rally where he led for most of the day’s eight stages but had to dig deep to take the spoils on the final stage reeling in fellow Tyrone ace Vivian Hamill (VW Polo GTi R5) to win by just 2.8s.
