Demons' Pat Duffy Cup assault has been a number of years in the making

A Presidents' Cup and promotion to the Super League were sealed in Daniel O'Mahony's first year at the helm. Now it's time to go for the big one.

Having taken on the top job at UCC Blue Demons prior to the 2021/22 campaign, Daniel O'Mahony wasn't in the mood to waste any time. An immediate impact was indeed necessary. 

His return to the club in 2019 - having spent time coaching at KUBS basketball club in Dublin - saw him spend time running the under-20s. His elevation to men's head coach in the summer of 2021 coincided with the return of Irish international Kyle Hosford to the fold.
