Brunell looking to scoop three National Cups in two days

Cork and Munster derbies abound as basketball's National Cup final weekend schedule is confirmed

BASKETBALL's National Cup finals weekend in Tallaght will see Cork side Brunell challenge for three trophies over the course of two frantic days. The senior women's side under Liam Culloty will look to bring down the curtain in style on Sunday evening as they face Cork rivals Fr Matthews in the Paudie O'Connor Cup final. Earlier on Sunday, the U18's will play Meteors in the decider while the 'Nellies' will contest the U20 decider on Saturday at 4.45 against Waterford Wildcats.

Seven-time Men's National Cup winners UCC Demons will face Ballincollig at 8pm at the National Arena on Saturday January 21st. Both men's and women's senior finals will be broadcast live on TG4. Ballincollig are looking to win their first National Cup.
