Glowing tributes were paid to rally icon Rosemary Smith during her funeral service at Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel in Harold’s Cross on Monday afternoon.

As the curtain drew to a close, people stood, applauded, embraced and shed tears as they bid farewell while Westlife’s rendition of “You Raise Me Up” faded gently into evening time.
