Daniel Wiffen wins gold in thrilling 1500m Freestyle final

Daniel Wiffen won his second European title when he claimed gold in the 1500m Freestyle final in the third fastest time in history at the European Aquatics Short Course Championships in Otopeni, Romania. 

Wiffen finished an incredible twelve seconds ahead of his closest competitor France's David Aubry who finished in 1421.78 and Ukraine's Mykhailo Romanchuk in 14:22.18.
