Andrew O’Leary beat James O’Sullivan in the last shot of a classic contest to launch the new club road at Ballyhooly.

O’Sullivan opened with two brilliant bowls to light. O’Leary missed in two, but played a fine third shot around the bend to stay in contention. O’Sullivan got a very short third throw and was now just 15m fore. O’Leary turned things completely around by making light at the next bend in two more, raising almost a bowl of odds. He continued to lead well into the long straight.
