Having annexed a maiden Irish Tarmac Rally Championship title and the runner-up in the National series, Derry’s Callum Devine will round out his rally season on tomorrow’s Donegal Harvest Rally where he goes in search of a hat-trick of wins.

Reflecting on his outing on the recent Fastnet Rally where he trailed his championship nemesis Josh Moffett by almost 15s after the opening loop but had reduced the deficit to 5.3s prior to the final stage, he said,: “There was a four bale chicane into a square left and the road was like glass. It began to rain as we started the stage, Josh (Moffett) went sideways into the final bale nudging it and got away with it.
