Erika O'Shea gets first AFLW goal as North Melbourne power into playoffs

Former Cork All-Star Erika O'Shea scored her first goal in the AFLW as her North Melbourne side trounced Western Bulldogs 55-9 to secure a top-four place and a double chance in the playoffs.
The Macroom woman got off the mark as the dominant Kangaroos held the Dogs scoreless in the first half of a 7.13 to 1.3 victory at the Whitten Oval.
The Bulldogs finish their season last with just one win from 10 games.

The Brisbane Lions also secured top four, finishing fourth after a 53-28 victory over long-time leaders Melbourne Demons.
Dublin's Jennifer Dunne and Tipperary’s Orla O’Dwyer played for the Lions with Dublin’s Sinead Goldrick and Armagh’s Blaithin Macken on the Demons side.
The Adelaide Crows instead finish the regular season on to after hammering West Coast Eagles 71-47. Donegal’s Yvonne Bonner scored a goal and a behind with Mayo's Niamh Kelly adding a behind. Tipperary’s Aisling McCarthy scored a goal for the Eagles.
