Monaghan’s Josh Moffett and his Abbeyfeale co-driver Keith Moriarty secured the Triton National Rally Championship in style with a hard earned victory in the Bantry based Westlodge Hotel Fastnet Rally. 

On board their Hyundai i20 R5 they finished the 7.4s ahead of their season long rivals Derry’s Callum Devine and Killarney’s Noel O’Sullivan (VW Polo GTi R5). Leaders through the opening four stages and again after SS6, the West Cork duo of Daniel Cronin/Donnchadh Burke (VW Polo GTi R5) had to be content with third after they slid off and dropped almost 30s on the final stage.
