Derry’s Jordan Hone (Ford Fiesta R5) will tackle Sunday’s Willie Loughman Forest Rally with the sole aim of securing the runner-up spot in the Sligo Pallets Irish Forest Rally Championship that concludes with the six-stage (65km) event that is based in Slieverue on the Waterford/Kilkenny border. The 27-year-old mechanical engineer, who was runner-up in last year’s series, said, ‘Yes, I want to try and tie that up (runner-up spot) for sure.”
