Mixed views on potential World Rally return to Ireland in 2025

The framework for Motorsport Ireland’s plans to host a round of the World Rally Championship in 2025 is likely to be fleshed out within the next week or so when regional delegates of its Motor Sport Council get together. 

Several weeks ago MI affiliated clubs were asked to forward suggestions for possible locations for the service park/media zone. MI president Aiden Harper said: “Some clubs are coming up with some good suggestions, others haven’t bothered. The regional (MSC) reps will meet to look at the suggestions.”
