Thomas Mackle won his fifth Hurley’s of Midleton King of the Roads, defeating David Murphy in a compelling contest in driving wind and rain at Ballincurrig.

Both players drove at each other in a classic shoot-out, it was done and dusted in a near record 80 minutes. Murphy won the first shot, but after that it was all Mackle.
