Ireland's Israel Olatunde put in a superb performance in a personal best time of 10.19 seconds to win his men's 100m heat at the European Athletics Championships in Munich this morning.

Running in lane 8, the time is just 0.01 off Paul Hession's 100m Irish record. The semi-finals are scheduled for tomorrow evening.
