Andrew Balbirnie is targeting a series victory over South Africa after the Ireland captain smashed a century as the hosts scored a historic 43-run victory in Malahide.

The skipper’s knock of 102 included 10 fours and two sixes and set the platform for some big hitting in the late overs from Harry Tector (79 off 68) and George Dockrell (45 off 23) saw the home side post a total of 290-5.
