Michael Conlan fined for Olympic post-fight interview
Michael Conlan has been slapped with a fine of almost €10,000 by the International Boxing Association for his comments following his exit at the Rio Olympics this summer.

The AIBA accepted the Belfast fighter was 'extremely distraught' following his surprise defeat to his Russian opponent, they also accept that Conlan is unlikely to pay the fine given that he's since turned professional.
Conlan makes his pro debut at Madison Square Garden on St Patrick's weekend.
