Billy Walsh: 'Disrespectful' IABA offer was 'aimed at forcing me to resign'

Billy Walsh has released a statement clarifying the reasons for his departure as the head coach of Ireland's High Performance Unit.

Responding to a statement published by the Irish Amateur Boxing Association yesterday, Walsh re-emphasised that the reasons for his departure were of a non-financial nature and added that he believes that the IABA did not want him to stay on.
