Nadal suffers shock exit

Rafael Nadal was dumped out of the Miami Open yesterday as he suffered a shock defeat to fellow Spaniard Fernando Verdasco.

The second seed is a four-time finalist in Florida but has never won the tournament and will have to wait at least another year after going down 6-4 2-6 6-3 to his countryman.
