Raonic ends Kyrgios challenge

Milos Raonic swept past teenage sensation Nick Kyrgios to book a maiden grand slam semi-final against seven-time champion Roger Federer at Wimbledon.

The eighth seed trumped his French Open quarter-final run by easing past 19-year-old Kyrgios 6-7 (4/7) 6-2 6-4 7-6 (7/4) on Wednesday.

Flamboyant Australian Kyrigos dumped world number one and two-time champion Rafael Nadal out of Wimbledon on Tuesday, but was unable to reproduce that effervescence against the big-serving Canadian.
