Fuentes guilty of endangering health but given suspended sentence
The Spanish doctor at the heart of one of cycling’s biggest doping scandals has been found guilty of endangering public health and given a one-year suspended jail sentence in the Operation Puerto case.
Eufemiano Fuentes also was barred from medical practice in sports for four years and ordered to pay a fine of just under £4,000
