McDonald makes swimming final

Wexford's Daragh McDonald is in 50 metres freestyle final this evening having come eighth overall in this morning's heats.

McDonald has already won Gold in the 400 metres freestyle event.

Limerick's James Mc Carthy has finished 13th in the Men's F57/58 shot putt, while Sean Baldwin ended up 18th in the Mixed R6-50 metre Rifle Prone-SH1 event.

In Equestrian action, Waterford's James Dwyer has finished sixth in the individual freestyle event.

European champion Corks Orla Barry is in the discus final this evening while Kilkenny's Ray O'Dwyer competes in the shot put F34 final.
