Clijsters sets up Kvitova showdown in Paris

Kim Clijsters and Petra Kvitova will meet in the Open Gaz de France final tomorrow after breezing through their respective semi-finals in Paris today.

US Open and Australian Open champion Clijsters, who will be world number one on Monday for the first time in five years, saw off the challenge of Estonian third seed Kaia Kanepi 6-1 7-5.

Fourth seed Kvitova of Czech Republic enjoyed an even more straightforward route to the final, thrashing American Bethanie Mattek-Sands 6-2 6-0 in just 59 minutes.
