Clijsters gets past Belgian compatriot at Wimbledon
Eighth seed Kim Clijsters of Belgium has beaten her 17th-seeded compatriot Justine Henin 2-6 6-2 6-3 in the fourth round at Wimbledon.
Henin returned well in the opening game of the deciding set but Clijsters was quickly able to take control of the exchanges and move her rival around the court.
Both players comfortably held their service games until the eighth when Henin faced two break points.
She emphatically finished off a rally to save one but then over-hit a shot to the baseline to hand Clijsters the chance to serve for the match.
Clijsters fell behind but she moved to match point when Henin fired just wide with a backhand and clinched a 2-6 6-2 6-3 triumph when Henin hit a return into the net.
