Kim Clijsters marked her Wimbledon comeback with a polished performance as she eased to a straight-sets victory over unseeded Italian Maria Elena Camerin.

Making her first competitive appearance at SW19 since her semi-final defeat to fellow Belgian Justine Henin in 2006, Clisters was rarely troubled as she posted a 6-0 6-3 triumph in the opening game on Court Two at this year’s Championships.
