Serena powers past Stosur

Defending champion Serena Williams unleashed a barrage of winners to end local hopeful Sam Stosur’s campaign at the Australian Open today.

Williams silenced a near-capacity crowd at the Rod Laver Arena with 42 winners to claim a 6-4 6-2 victory in just over an hour.
