Irish tennis player Louk Sorensen has qualified for the main draw of the Chennai Open.

Irish tennis player Louk Sorensen has qualified for the main draw of the Chennai Open.

Sorensen ensured a spot in the first round with a 6-2 6-7 (6/8) 6-2 win over India's Yuki Bhambri.

Sorensen, who celebrates his 25th birthday on Thursday, will now face France's Stephane Robert tomorrow.
