Norway’s Thor Hushovd won a sprint finish to claim Stage Six of the Tour de France today.

The Cervelo rider came from deep to cruise past Oscar Freire, Jose Joauin Rojas and Gerald Ciolek with metres to spare to win his first stage of the Tour – a 181km jaunt in rainy Spain from Girona to Barcelona.
