Nadal breezes past Rochus

Rafael Nadal made short work of his opening match at the Australian Open, taking just 77 minutes to defeat Christophe Rochus 6-0, 6-2, 6-2.

Nadal, who reached the semi-finals in Melbourne for the first time last year, had never played the Belgian before and Rochus will be hoping it is a while before the pair square off again.
