Murray continues good start to 2009

Andy Murray took his place in the quarter-finals of the Qatar Open in Doha with a comfortable 6-2, 6-4 victory over Germany's Philipp Petzschner today.

The 2008 US Open finalist was rarely troubled by his opponent as he remained on course to defend his title in the Gulf state and continued his build-up to the Australian Open later this month.
