Nocher wins backstroke heat

Melanie Nocher has won her heat of the 200m backstroke at the Beijing with a time of 2:12.29.

She should now progress to the semi-final of the event, making up for her disappointment earlier in the week when her goggles came loose and upset her opening race that the Olympics.
