Irish track-and-field athletes depart for Olympics

Ireland's track-and-field Olympians are departing Dublin Airport for the Beijing Games today.

Sixteen athletes from seven different counties will form the Athletics Ireland team in China.

Hammer thrower Eileen O'Keefe is travelling with the squad today, but is still recovering from a damaged knee.

She says the injury is worse than she first anticipated and she will be battling to be fully fit for the Olympics.
