Games officials dismiss pollution fears
The International Olympic Committee and Beijing officials remain adamant next month’s Games will not be blighted by poor air quality in the Chinese capital.
Fears have been as ever present as the haze over Beijing, but, just nine days prior to the opening ceremony, those concerns have once again been dismissed.
