Ivanovic into last eight

Russia’s second seed Ana Ivanovic stormed into the quarter-finals of the French Open today after a 6-0 6-0 victory over Petra Cetkovska.

Last year’s runner-up at Roland Garros was too strong in every facet of the game for Cetkovska, who is ranked 77th in the world.

The whitewash was over in just 54 minutes.

Ivanovic will now meet the winner of the match between 10th seed Patty Schnyder and 27th seed Katarina Srebotnik.
