Nadal stunned by Ferrer

David Ferrer closed in on a spot in the semi-finals at the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, coming from a set down to defeat world number two Rafael Nadal today.

The 25-year-old, ranked sixth in the eight-man event, dropped the opener 4-6 but came back to win the second set 6-4 before breaking his Spanish compatriot twice to take a 5-1 lead on the way to 6-3 in the deciding set.
