The Irish lightweight men's four finished sixth in their semi-final, the same finishing position for Sinead Jennings and Niamh Ní Cheallachair in the Lightweight Women's Double Sculls.

The Heavyweight Women's Double Sculls of Helen Walshe and Caroline Ryan failed to get out of the heats, with the Heavyweight Men's Quad and Heavyweight Single Schullers Sean Casey suffering the same fate.

There was good news for the Heavyweight Men's Four - they won their reprechage to qualify for tomorrow's final.
