Nadal enjoys experiment

Rafael Nadal had concerns about how well he would adapt in the ’Battle if the Surfaces’ exhibition against Roger Federer, but ended up having a ball.

Yesterday’s match, played on Nadal’s home island of Mallorca, saw the world’s two top-ranked players pitted against each other on a court that was grass at one end and clay at the other.
