Bogdanovic suffers Miami exit

Alex Bogdanovic suffered an early exit at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami after the British player was knocked out in the first qualifying round by Feliciano Lopez.

However, the 22-year-old did make a fight of it, taking the match to three sets and forcing his opponent to save 12 break points before the Spaniard triumphed 6-2 3-6 7-6 (7/3) in just over two hours.

It was the first ATP Masters Series appearance of the season for Bogdanovic, who did not feature in Indian Wells last week.
