Murray through to San Jose final

Defending Champion Andy Murray is through to the final of the SAP Open in San Jose for a second consecutive year after overcoming top seed Andy Roddick in straight sets 7-6 (10/8) 6-4.

British number one Murray, who beat Roddick at the same semi-final stage last year, took around an hour-and-a-half to see off the world number four.

He now faces big-serving Croatian Ivo Karlovic, who defeated Benjamin Becker 7-6 (7/5) 7-5 in the day's other semi-final.
