Murray makes short work of Rochus
Andy Murray earned a straightforward victory over Christophe Rochus to reach the quarter-finals of the Qatar Open in Doha.
The 19-year-old Scot, who beat Filippo Volandri earlier this week despite struggling with a cold, recorded a 6-1 6-3 win, which rarely seemed in doubt.
Belgian Rochus looked out of sorts for most of the contest and was broken in his first service game as fourth seed Murray comprehensively outplayed him.
Murray will face Max Mirnyi of Belarus in the next round, with a semi-final showdown against world number three Nikolay Davydenko a possibile reward.
