Justine Henin-Hardenne reached the French Open final for the second consecutive year on Thursday with a straight-sets win over Belgian compatriot Kim Clijsters.

The defending champion proved too strong for second seed Clijsters with a convincing 6-3 6-2 triumph.

Henin-Hardenne, the number five seed, will now face Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova in Saturday’s showpiece.
