Federer red-hot favourite for Australian Open title

Top seed Roger Federer heads into the Australian Open final against unlikely opponent Marcos Baghdatis as a red-hot favourite to claim the title for a second time.

The world number one has battled his way through tough matches against Nicolas Kiefer, Tommy Haas and Nikolay Davydenko on his way through to tomorrow’s final, an evening match in Melbourne (8.30am Irish time).
