Rescue underway as yachts capsize during Atlantic race

An international rescue operation is underway in the Atlantic Ocean west of France today after three yachts got into difficulty during Transat Jacques Vabre race.

Two of the yachts capsized during ferocious sailing conditions west of the Bay of Biscay, while the third lost its masts.
