Andy Murray will today bid to build on his promising run to the third round at Wimbledon when taking on Francis Gregory Carraz in the first round of the ATP Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, Rhode Island.

The 18-year-old Scot was the top-performing Briton at the All England Club, his winning streak coming to an end when Argentinian David Nalbandian fought back from two sets down to win a marathon match on Centre Court.
