Hewitt reaches last eight

Former champion Lleyton Hewitt held off a spirited challenge from big-serving American Taylor Dent to reach his third quarter-final.

Hewitt, who needed five sets to get past Dent at Wimbledon four years ago, was this time taken to four in a match which lasted a minute more than three hours in glorious sunshine on Centre Court.
