Justine Henin-Hardenne crashed out of Wimbledon to Eleni Daniilidou today and admitted she had a feeling it was not going to be her day.

The newly-crowned French Open champion came to Wimbledon nursing a hamstring injury from which she had not had time to properly recuperate.

Henin-Hardenne said: “I never felt a good rhythm and it is very hard to win when you play like this. It has been a very short time after the French Open and my injury got worse in the last few days.

“My health is very important to me and it is going to be the main thing in the next few weeks to get my injury better.”

Henin-Hardenne added that she had a feeling that her recovery period was going to be too short coming so soon after triumphing at Roland Garros.
