Roddick roars to victory against Vanek

Andy Roddick roared past outclassed Czech Jiri Vanek to book his place in the Wimbledon second round today.

Last year’s losing finalist hammered down 14 aces, including one registering 141mph on the tennis Richter Scale, on his way to a 6-1 7-6 6-2 success.
