Irish sailors finish 16th in Olympic 49er class

Irish sailors Fraser Brown and Tom Fitzpatrick have provisionally finished 16th in 49er class at the Olympic Games in Athens.

The Spanish team claimed victory in the class this morning, with Ukraine finishing second and Britain securing the bronze medal.

Elsewhere, Irish duo Mark Mansfield and Killian Collins are currently in 17th and last place in the Star class, which concludes on Saturday.
