Terrible luck of the Irish rubs on to Heffernan

Ireland's Olympic misfortune continued on the track this morning as Corkman Robert Heffernan was disqualified in the 20km walk.

The 26-year-old, a holder of four national records and 28th in Sydney, was disqualified for 'lifting', under IAAF rule 230.4.
