British weightlifter Kamran Panjavi had to retire from the 62kg event today after pulling a muscle during his second lift of the competition in Athens.

British weightlifter Kamran Panjavi had to retire from the 62kg event today after pulling a muscle during his second lift of the competition in Athens.

Panjavi was stretchered off the platform at the Nikaia Olympic Weightlifting Hall.
