Rusedski reaches Wimbledon second round

Greg Rusedski has reached the second round of Wimbledon with a 7-5 4-6 6-2 6-2 against Davide Sanguinetti of Italy today.

Rusedski had won just five out of 12 matches since being cleared of doping charges in March.

He lost in the first round of the Stella Artois Championship to Hyung-Taik Lee.

Despite dropping the second set 6-4, Rusedski dominated the 32-year-old Italian in the remaining sets.
